Air Jordan Fusion 5 (V)
The Air Jordan Fusion 5 (V), which is the second installment from the Air Jordan Fusion line, had some major expectations to upkeep following the release of the Air Jordan Fusion 12 (XII). The famous line that had fused the Air Jordan with the Nike Air Force 1 (ones) came back three months later, this time fusing the Air Jordan V (5) with the Nike Air Force 1 (ones).
This time around, the Air Jordan Fusion 5 upper mostly resembles that of the Air Jordan V (5) rather than the Nike Air Force 1 (ones), with the mesh on the sides and the “23” stitched at the heel. The front quarter is styled like the Nike Air Force 1. The tongue is taken from the Air Jordan V (5), with the Jumpman logo at the top. The words “Best of Both Worlds” is embroidered on the underside of the tongue. The strap from the Nike Air Force 1 (Ones) mid is used once again for the Air Jordan Fusion 5. The sole is also inspired by the Nike Air Force 1, with the addition of the “sunburst” design from the Air Jordan V (5).
The Air Jordan Fusion 5 released in a total of thirteen color ways, including kids sizes. A couple of low models also released, in a myriad of flamboyant color ways. The Air Jordan Fusion V (5) really is the best of both worlds, combining two die-hard classic basketball sneakers into one beautiful shoe.
