atmos x New Balance 550 “Back in Black” Releasing December 2023

atmos and New Balance will strengthen their relationship by launching the atmos x New Balance 550 “Back in Black” in December 2023.

atmos, a sneaker boutique that recently closed its doors in New York, and its US website has a thriving store in Japan. The OG store is home to many collaborations across multiple brands. The shop will connect with New Balance for a sleek pair of the New Balance 550 for the holiday season. Known as “Back in Black,” the color scheme and placement perfectly fit the colder months.

Allowing the materials and branding to do the talking, this New Balance 550 by atmos features a Black and White color combination. Utilizing Black across the base with smooth leather on the overlays and a basketball jersey-like mesh on the tongues. Next, White fills in the pebbled leather “N” logos on the panels, pipping that runs across the sides,  550 branding, and markings on the tongue and heels. Staying true to the “Back in Black” moniker, we have Black across the midsole and rubber outsole to finish the look.
