The Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” also known as “All-Star” will return to retailers during Summer 2024. What makes this pair special is that Michael Jordan wore them during the 2002 NBA All-Star Game when he played for the Washington Wizards.
The “Lightning” Air Jordan 17 Low was only released one time, which was in 2002. However, SoleFly did a “Reverse Lightning” collaboration that launched in 2018 and was limited to 2,300 pairs. The Lightning release for 2024 won’t be as limited, but since it’s labeled an SP, they are not expected to be a general release.
This Air Jordan 17 Low comes dressed in a White, Lightning, Black, and Chrome color combination. Utilizing White leather on the upper with a Black Dynamic Fit inner sleeve. Highlighting the shoes are the Lightning accents on most of the midsole and toe cap, with Chrome that wraps the heels. As for other technology, this silhouette has a full-length shank plate, phylon midsole, and herringbone traction.
The 2024 release of the “Lightning” Jordan 17 Low will also come with a briefcase. The original pair was packaged with a Jumpman face box.
