Professional BMX rider Nigel Sylvester and Jordan Brand will come together for a new collaboration on a takedown model The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 RM will release part of the brand’s Fall 2024 collection.
Nigel Sylvester has had one official collaboration with Jordan Brand: the Air Jordan 1. He has shown off a sample pair of the AJ1 in Black and his Jordan Air Ship “Bike Air”. Looking ahead to 2024, Nigel will launch his own Air Jordan 4 RM, a new model based on the classic Air Jordan 4.
We were fortunate to receive a preview of the Air Jordan 4 RM, considered a takedown version of MJ’s fourth signature shoe. The silhouette has Jordan 4 DNA throughout. However, there are some major differences. The upper will have a new look. It will feature mesh in different panel areas and a cage that wraps the shoes. The same overlay wraps the toe box from the AJ4, all the while in low-top form. Nike Air branding is placed on the heels, and the Flight logo adorns the tongue. Lastly, the midsole and outsole will stay the same, ensuring half the shoe will stay true to the classic.
Nigel Sylvester’s Air Jordan 4 RM will come dressed in a Midnight Green, Metallic Platinum, Black, Sail, Dark Smoke Grey, and University Red. You can expect the shoes to also feature elements and branding connecting to Nigel.
